Edge wrestled in SSW, ICW, WCW, before coming to WWE.WWE Career (1998-present)
In 1998, Edge was signed by the World Wrestling Federation and made his television debut on the June 22 episode of RAW is WAR as Edge, a loner character who entered the arena through the crowd for his matches.In 1999, he won his first Intercontinental title after defeating Jeff Jarrett.
Then Edge joined Gangrel and Christian to form a group called The Brood.
In 2000, Edge and Christian formed a tag team and began feud with The Hardy Boyz, and won the Tag Team Championships seven times.
Then came a turning point in Edge’s career, when in 2001,Edge Professional Life Edge won the King of the Ring tournament. Then he
challenged William Regal for the Intercontinental Title, which he again won. At Wrestlemania X8, he defeated Booker T. Then in the next edition of SmackDown, he was drafted to Smackdown, after the first WWE Draft Lottery. There he feuded with Kurt angle, and in a hair shaving match, he shaved the head of Kurt Angle, making him bald. He teamed up with Rey Myterio, to win the WWE Tag Team Championship.
In 2003, Edge suffered an injury, which kept him out of action for most of the year. In 2004, he was drafted to Raw, where he made his return, as a crazed heel with severe anger management problems centered on his obsession for the World Heavyweight Championship. Edge competed in his first Elimination Chamber match at New Year's Revolution 2005 for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship. Then at WrestleMania 21, he won the Money in the Bank match, to get a title shot. He used that contract, when John Cena successfully defeated all the members of Elimination Chamber match at New Year’s Revolution 2006, thus becoming the WWE Champion for the first time. At Royal Rumble 2006, John Cena defeated Edge and won back the WWE title, where Mick Foley was the guest referee. This led to a match between him and Mick Foley at Wrestlemania 22, which Edge won. In 2007, he formed a group with Randy Orton, called Rated-RKO, which feuded with DX, but the group didn’t last very long.
In Raw edition, Edge defeated Mr, Kennnedy, to again get the ‘Money in the Bank’ contract, and went to SamckDown, where when undertaker defeated Batista for the World heavyweight Championship, edge cashed in the bank, and defeated the Undertaker to become World heavyweight Championship for the first time.
In 2008, he married Smackdown manager Vickie Guerrero, but lost the World title to CM punk, after an assault from Batista, CM Punk cashed his Money in the Bank, to defeat Edge and become Champion.
At SummerSlam 2008, Edge was defeated by Triple H during the WWE Championship match.
