Pre WWE Career (1993-1995)

Triple H wrestled under the name of Terra Ryzing, and began his career in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in the year 1993, but in 1995 he joined WWE, to start a legendary career.

WWE Career

Triple H started his WWF career, under the ring name “The Connecticut Blueblood, Hunter Hearst Helmsley”, where he portrayed himself to be a wrestler with lots of etiquettes. His manager was the legendary Mr. perfect, and he won his first Intercontinental title by defeating Marc Mero.

After this, he was absent from the mainstream events because of the limelight on Shawn Michaels and Bret Hitman Hart rivalry.

D-Generation X Era (1997–1999)

In 1997, Triple H defeated Mankind to win King of the Ring tournament. It gave him the opportunity to join Shawn Michaels, Chyna, to form a radical group called Degeneration X, where the well behaved etiquette image was destroyed.

After Wrestlemania XIV, where Stone Cold defeated Shawn Michaels, Triple H became the leader of the group and included more members, like X-Pac, New age Outlaws, which together created an main stage DX group. The group rivaled with Nation of domination group, led by the Rock. They even stormed the arena of rival wrestling league WCW and were known for making abusive statements. During this rein, Triple H defeated The Rock in a ladder match to get the Intercontinental Championship. And then he became WWF championship for the first time in 1999, when he defeated Davey Boy Smith, Big Show, Kane, The Rock, and Mankind in a six man pack challenge.

The Game (2000-pressent)

In 2000, Triple H took the identity of a Cerebral Assassin, and called himself the game. He portrayed himself to be at the top of all the wrestlers and feuded with The Rock, Stone Cold, Kurt Angle, The Undertaker, Jericho, over the next two years.

In 2003, he formed a wrestling group with legendary Ric Flair, Randy Orton and Batista, called “Evolution”, and became the World heavyweight Champion”.

He lost the Championship to Chris Benoit and Batista and Wrestlemania XX and 21 respectively.

But he regained the WWE Championship after in a Fatal Four-Way Elimination match against Orton, Cena, and JBL.

After this Triple H was drafted to Smackdown and is scheduled to take on Edge for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam 2008
