Pre WWE Career
Batista first approached WCW to start his wrestling career, but was not accepted. Then he joined Afa Anoa'i's WXW promotion under the name Kahn. He then joined Valley Wrestling (OVW) in 2000 and was known as Leviathan. After losing the championship, Batista left OVW for World Wrestling EntertainmentBatista Professional LifeWorld Wrestling Entertainment (2002-present)
Batista debuted in WWE Smackdown as a heel enforcer for Reverend D-Von. He made his in ring debut in a tag match teaming with D-Von against Randy Orton and Faarooq with Batista pinning Orton after using his spinebuster. After his separation from D-Von, he was drafted to RAW, where his name became Batista. He joined the forces with Ric Flair, and defeated Kane at Armageddon, his first Pay-Per-View.In 2003, he joined forces with Randy Orton, Triple H, Ric Flair, to form Evolution, the most dominating group in RAW during (2003-2004), where he along with Ric Flair, became World tag team Champions.
In 2005, his relations with leader Triple H started to deteriorate, as he won the Royal Rumble (2005), he was ultimately stabbed on the back by Triple H, and challenged him for the title at Wrestlemania 21, where he defeated him to become for the first time, the World heavyweight Champion.
In early 2006, Batista suffered an injury, due to which he has to vacate his championship. In later end of 2006 he defeated King Boker, to get his World heavyweight Championship. But he lost the Championship at Wrestlemania 23 against The Undertaker. At Unforgiven 2007, Batista defeated Khali, to win the World heavyweight Championship for the third time. He eventually lost the title to Edge at Armageddon.
In 2008, he fought with Shawn Michaels, blaming him for the retirement of Ric Flair, After that, he was drafted to Raw, where he became World Tag Team champion along with John Cena, but lost the Championship next weak. He fought with John Cena at Summer Slam 2008, where he defeated John Cena.
